Fire Door Inspection and Maintenance

Being a first line of defence, fire doors are a critical aspect of fire safety in any building. In the event of a fire, they limit the spread of both fire and smoke. Which is why regular inspections are essential to ensure the safety of your building and its occupants.

Qualified Fire Door Inspector

Our qualified fire door inspector will assess your fire doors, frames and associated hardware to ensure they are fit for purpose. We will also check to ensure that they will provide adequate protection against the spread of fire and smoke. A fully comprehensive report will be provided, detailing the findings of both compliant and non-compliant doors. The report will also make recommendations for any remedial works required.

Your Fire Safety Obligations

There are several reasons why a fire door could fail in an emergency. Which is why both regular inspections and maintenance are so important. It is the best way to ensure that your fire doors remain compliant and that you meet your legal obligations under the Fire Safey (England) Regulations. Ensuring the correct frequency of inspections is also important. NHE can offer bespoke packages that suit the unique needs of your premises.
