SUMMARY:
New £45m mental health facility. The works include the demolition of the existing buildings to be replaced by a modern mental health inpatient unit, which will feature 64 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. In addition, the project includes communal areas, assisted bathrooms and associated support rooms, as well as therapeutic gardens and external courtyard spaces.
All facilities will be constructed with the needs of inpatients at the forefront, using best practice in creating safe and therapeutically appropriate spaces that assist staff and clinicians to provide the best care possible.
