NHE Carpentry is the trading name of N.H.Etheridge (Building) Ltd, which was established in November 1978.
As a trusted and well-respected joinery firm, we have been working for the UK’s top 10 building contractors for almost 50 years. We operate throughout London and the home counties, including Kent, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire. Our Primary business sectors include Education, Health, Leisure, Residential, the Ministry of Defence & the Ministry of Justice.
Carpentry & Joinery
1st Fix Carpentry
Our team are dedicated to providing exceptional first fix services, including roofing, flooring decking, and carcassing.
2nd Fix Carpentry
This can include doorsets, staircases, kitchens, washroom integrated plumbing systems, and any bespoke joinery that is required.
Cladding
Working to our very high standards, our team install specialist external and internal cladding systems, including acoustic wall panelling.
Fire Door Installation
NHE Carpentry are certified Fire Door Installers under the BM Trada certification scheme. This is a UKAS accredited certification for the installation and maintenance of fire doors. As part of our accreditation, we are able to offer new installations and refurbishments.
And with our own in-house Fire Door Inspector, we able to offer a full fire door maintenance package. Carrying out regular checks on every fire door on your premises will ensure you meet your corporate and social responsibilities.

Supply & Installation
The majority of the projects that we undertake are on a full supply & installation basis. We will supply all materials, down to the smallest details, and carry out the work to a high-end finish. However, we are happy to consider working on an installation only basis if that is the clients preferred procurement route.
Our Team
